My name is Adan; I am a film director who believes in fostering community and cultivating future storytellers. Growing up, two things stuck with me Lego animation and the importance of knowing where you come from. First, my family immersed me in Afro-Latino art, history, and mythology. However, the film industry did not represent these stories about my culture and family. So I decided to create them myself with Legos.
I then volunteered my time to teach kids LEGO animation. I discovered that my voice had a significant impact. My stories inspired and motivated kids to tell stories about themselves, their families, and their community.
My stories are a platform to educate, build diversity, and empower underrepresented storytellers. It’s about helping others find their voice and providing them with the resources to change the world.
I’ve recently moved to LA, and I’m looking for collaborators and opportunities to get on set. Thank you for reading, and I’d love to contribute to your project.
