Waheed Khan

Waheeds projects have taken him all over the world. He has filmed in mosques, prisons, clubs, hospitals, universities, schools, temples, drug dens, and on covert assignments. Waheed writes,directs and produces films, documentaries, art installations and commercials. His narratives are humorous and left-field, insightful and fun. His characters are on the margins of society; outsiders, rebels and misfits. He works with the Doha Film Institute and his work has been broadcast on Channel 4, ITV and BBC. Video art he produced was presented at the Saatchi Gallery in London with Iraqi artist Mahmoud Obaidi. His 2018 short film Double Apple is on the film festival circuit and he is currently in post with his new short film, Arnie Syndrome. He is in development with his feature film, Down and Out in Doha.
