Before kindergarten I created “worlds” for my younger brother and sister, places where anything could happen. My love of dreams & amazing new things led me to science, to reading all the “500” books in most of the schools I attended, and then, to the left of science & math books, the Dewey decimal system placed myths, legends and pure ideas. Read them. The stories I told my siblings grew more interesting.

Childhood education: Attended 13 schools in 7 different state (no, parents not military. Parents were dreamers who repeatedly risked all for that next opportunity, sometimes lost $$$, but always gained knowledge. While growing up I met people from all economic and social levels. I won the parent lottery. Because of them, I know it’s not the size of the house; it’s the size of the smiles in the house. Every town, rich kids who visited our home (even the 600 sq ft ones) always left envying me.

College: Started as a physics major eager to discover “the secrets of the universe.” Life happens. Married. We started & help start several businesses, educational experiences everyone. Went back to school, obtained a teaching degree in math & English.

1978; Moved to Kalispell, Montana. Started another small business & finally had children (2 girls). It has survived divorce, uninsured cancer, embezzlements, economic downturns. I never wanted to be The Boss Lady, but I am.

Never stopped compulsively writing stories. I’ve written many trade journal business article and two business books, epic science fiction, short stories, romance novels and more.
I’m now writing screenplays. Stage 32 seems a perfect resource for improving my craft.
