About Brenna

Brenna Kelly was born and raised in the woods of Southern Maryland where bizarre malfeasance and folklore ran amuck. This ignited her obsession with true crime, naturally inspiring her to write horror/ thrillers about broken underdogs facing grounded but extreme injustice with Female/Minority leads. Surviving a severe alcohol addiction and two (Yes, it happened twice!) cult "rehabs," she understands the lonely struggle to climb out of a nightmare. Brenna attended Full Sail University, The Second City and Roadmap Writers. Some notable traction for her scripts are placing in the Filmmatic Horror Screenplay Awards, Emerging Screenwriters Genre Competition and Table Read my Screenplay Genre Competition. When Brenna isn't writing about tragedy, she loves eating donuts and texting her mom weird animal memes.
