Siobhan Marie Day

I have loved film since I was a child. My first job was at the local Blockbuster Video. I graduated high school in June 2001 and three months before September 11, 2001. My future plans for school were pushed back and I joined the ARMY in 2002 after my time in active duty service I went to school and received a bachelor’s in History and then attended another University for Film School where I majored in Screenwriting and wrote a political thriller in 2018. My professor had worked for Pixar and attended Stanford and complemented my ability to write my script in real time with the politics of America as they were occurring. My script is based on the dangerous political climate of America in the present and deals with a President who maybe shouldn’t have been one and their ties to white supremacy and ending Democracy through those connections to white supremacists. My script is more relevant now than it ever was. I’m looking to write more political thrillers as it is an area I prefer to write about using the world around me and my history background to tell thrilling stories I think movie goers are missing in theaters. We have lost the thriller based film and have replaced them with franchise films that have action and thrill film goers but gone are the real thrillers and political thrillers like All The Presidents Men or The Jack Ryan Espionage thrillers. I’m looking to write films like that and hope that filmgoers miss them as much as I do.
