LOGLINE:

A horror anthology series of 5 episodes in the style of "Tales from the Crypt," "The Twilight Zone," or more recently "The Cabinet of Curiosities" by Guillermo Del Toro. The novelty or gimmick of this series is that all episodes will be set in rural towns or areas of Mexico, showcasing Mexican culture and folklore, as well as its beautiful landscapes and rural architecture, while tackling themes of terror, science fiction, cosmic horror, or paranormal terror, creating an original product with its own unique brand. The budget range would cover the production of the first chapter.

SYNOPSIS:

3 Episodes:

"Disappeared":

It tells the story of a rural police officer trying to investigate the disappearance and deaths of women in the community, believing it is a case of kidnappings or drug cartel murders, but the truth is stranger as all these victims are the product of extraterrestrial abductions to fertilize them and use them as alien cocoons.

"The Outsider":

A tale about a traveling YouTuber or influencer who goes from town to town reporting on tourist spots, arrives at a strange seemingly lonely town, but as he delves into the town he discovers more and more angry and mysterious villagers. As the crowd grows, it seems they are going to lynch him, but they take him to the church where they find a cosmic deity/demon.

"The Wait":

In this tale, we see an old man inside his small rural house, it seems he is waiting for someone. One day, the door opens and it is no other than a special guest: the devil himself. The old man, un surprised, seems to have been waiting for him for a long time, as he comments, "I tried to kill myself several times." What does the devil want from him? What does the old man have planned?

"The other side":

A poor family travels to USA as immigrants to seek a better life... "al otro lado" (the way called in mexico to crossing the border) They hire "polleros" (immigrant dealers) who are more than strange. Because instead of crossing them to the "otro lado" they are crossed to another dimension.

"The elders dance":

An old town where elders get together to tell their stories. After a long time away, one comes back. Everyone is stranged, where was him? why does he know their traumatic stories? now they understand: they are all dead... and he was their killer.
