About Paulo

I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, and I have an older sister who is married and has three children, and we’d raised by a single parent. My mother is Native American Pima and Navajo, and my unknown father is Mexican. When I say “unknown father,” I hear a little about him, what he does, and know his name. I don’t know what he looks like. So that makes me Half Native American and half Mexican American. I’m Navajo / Pima.

I started writing when I was sixteen in high school when I started doing English. I went to South Mountain Community College to study English literature, but my major was an Associate in Art. At the beginning of 2020, my professor Mario asked me if I was interested in learning how to be a screenplay. Before college, I got my degree and learned to be a screenwriter. It started on Christmas Day 2016; I got the book Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them. When I open the page, I never in my life I have seen a book turn into a screenplay, and I have never read screenplays before. But I’d read the whole thing and fell in love with the script. So, I told myself I would learn to write a screenplay one day. As years went by, I told him I would love to learn. Finally, Mario told me writing a script doesn’t have to be perfect and creative, and I took his quote and started to learn to write, which looked easy.
