Maria Kontaxis

I am from Canberra , Australia and I have been writing and designing since I was a little girl. My parents worked at Drive-ins , Theaters and Speak Easy Bars . Both my parents were Artistic and this infatuated me as a child . I sat in the wings and watched auditions , played in dressing rooms . Watched of course many reels of film and many hours of theater. My Mum also sewed Theater Costumes although she started as a cleaner for she was an immigrant to Australia. Basically my childhood was in the Arts and nightlife as I was their only child. I have studied Interior Design. I have published two books with two beautiful ladies . One is from Perth , Australia and the other from New Mexico. USA . They are both poetry books for I am a Poet . Writing was one of my greatest talents in primary school, high school etc and mainly all my life . Drawing was also and I won an International prize in primary school. Basically I am a Human Being of Art and Creativity since childhood. At 58 years old of course I have done numerous things but I would like now to write why I am on here . I have come on to this network for firstly I would love to meet other creative people but I would also like to script write . One of my childhood dreams that I have not accomplished so far although in High School my English teacher thought it was something I was excellent at . Might sound silly but I believe we should try at all our lists of dreams we had since childhood if we have time . So that's it .
