Nirmala Martis

I graduated from London South Bank University with BA (Hons) Digital Film & Video and have experience of making short films and documentaries. I have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. I am fluent in English and Sinhala (Sri Lankan) languages.

I am able to both lead teams, and to work within a team. Currently employed as a Technology Enhanced Learning Support Officer in the Institute of Health & Social Care at London South Bank University, I create educational videos for nursing faculty for teaching and learning purposes.

Before becoming a film maker I was an actor appearing in short films and commercials. This experience help me to understand ‘both sides of the camera’, and to be able to support others unused to working with the medium of film.

I enjoy company of friends and I love watching movies/ dramas, cooking and helping others.
