Short BIO
Alexandra McLaury has been working in the film industry for several decades as a writer, director, producer, and businesswoman. She owned and operated a Los Angeles Theatre Company where she wrote/directed/produced dozens of successful stage plays. As a creative, she writes under a selection of pen names and is a bestselling author of 25+ books as well as the recipient of several awards for her work as a novelist and a screenwriter.

Her feature scripts have been optioned, produced, and bought by worldwide distributors such as Canal+, Showtime, Playboy Enterprises/Playboy Television, Shaw Broadcasting Canada, and Sky Broadcasting Germany.

Since 2010 she's worked extensively as a copywriter for Public Relations, VOD synopsis for broadcast outlets, box covers, taglines, and online marketing campaigns.

Unique traits: I've adapted 10 bestselling books into screenplays over the past decade and consider myself a specialist in the art of manuscript-screenplay conversion. I've also made three of my books into movies. I write multiple genres, and also multiple FORMATS, which is a big deal -- not many pro writers can write fluently from one medium to another (books, scripting, short-form, long-form, stage, interactive).
