Kaitlin Messerly

I like to write emotionally compelling, thought provoking scripts often about overcoming extreme odds, friendship, experiencing terrible emotional pain or anguish, war, adversity. I write mostly action, and drama (especially of the historical variety) but dabble elsewhere as well. I strive to capture that raw, painful, open part of humanity and make it tangible for a consuming audience.

I’m also an enormous nerd and write Star Wars screenplays for my own enjoyment.
