Biljana Lipic

I am a Serbian-born, critically acclaimed performance artist and writer/director. As an Argentine tango dancer/coach/choreographer I worked for the BBC and ITN TV programmes, as well as for Hollywood movie productions. My dance with storytelling began with my artistic exploration of trauma and living between worlds, first through performance and theatre arts, then through film. My short film Tightrope Tango is ranking in the top 15% of the short drama projects on Coverfly. I aim to inspire change by giving voice to the voiceless and those who dance on the edges of themselves, society and the unknown.
