Hi Everyone! I had never considered being a writer until a couple of years ago and after a nearly full career in another industry I am now working on my first attempt at a screenplay. It may be that I finally have something to say??
Covid afforded me a fair amount of time to read a few books and learn basic concepts and structure of the art form but there is still much to glean. I learned about Stage 32 through an email from Final Draft so am expanding my resources as well as taking my first steps at networking within the industry.
I have an industry-related, and very dated, degree but no practical working experience. If there happens to be a writer’s manager here looking for original material and is willing to show a noob around the business “I’m your Huckleberry” (-Tombstone, K. Jarre).
