This is something I want to pitch to Disney; how many know the Disney Halloween film Hocus Pocus? It was originally going to be called Disney's Halloween House, or Halloween House before changed to Hocus Pocus. But I believe it would be a good horror anthology film. This is what I would view it as.

SYNOPSIS:

HALLOWEEN HOUSE

Writer and filmmaker Finn Thompson and his wife Joan Thompson meet his assistant James Dale and his wife Bonnie Dale and some new actors who will be appearing in their upcoming film. To thank them, Finn, Joan, James and Bonnie agree to take them to a Halloween party, there they find everyone in costume and to explain inspiration for their movies Finn and James and their wives tell them some monster stories.

John Cassidy and his wife Polly Cassidy arrive at a rental house for vacation, and while there they soon encounter ghosts and zombies and when they try to flee, they encounter one named Harvey Hames who explains they are trapped by a witch named SuAnne Flite and they only want to be free as SuAnne is using them for labor and to scare people away from the property so she can buy it cheap. Agreeing to help knowing SuAnne will go after them, they end up running into SuAnne and she tries to have her undead kill them. The trio manages to destroy her spell book causing the undead to fade away, but as she tries to kill them the spell backfires and turns her to stone, and Harvey now a ghost bids them farewell but revels he intends to visit every now and then, like on Halloween as a ghost for a Halloween Haunt, they put on.

Valerie Gomez is a young woman she is the target of young, wealthy and vain Dumont Huntington who is also party racist, deciding she needs a vacation she ends up in the woods where she meets a real werewolf name Gray Hardin, but he protects her and allows her to stay in his lodge where they fall in love. Unfortunately, Dumont had followed her and finds out, upset he has some of his employees try to kill Gray but working together Gray and Valerie avoid and defeat them, and then Dumont tries to kill Gray so he can rape Valerie but is distracted by Valerie so Gray defeats him, when he tries to kill them, Dumont falls to his death. Gray and Valerie decide to live together in the lodging and get married.

Steven Morris is a young musician traveling to an inn on his way to a gig, joining him is a young girl named Flora Reeves hired to be in his new music video. While at the inn they find out it is home to a cult that sacrifices people to a demon snake like monster and they run but run into the members and are forced to act in self-defense. Flora is kidnapped by the cult’s leader Vincent Beryl and Steven gives himself up, but when the monster comes for them Steven, he pulls off an item that the cult uses to control it, and it becomes docile and tame and devours the cult including Vincent. The monster leaves to return home, and Steven does his music video with Flora as his new girlfriend.

After telling the stories Finn, James, Joan and Bonnie reveal the partygoers are real monsters who are more scared of humans, for many reasons. Finn, Joan, James and Bonnie treat the monsters with respect and show they are not that scary. They also admit the stories where based/inspired on real events and that Gray and Valerie are real and married, now with an understanding of monsters they continue the party.
