Media professional synthesizing backgrounds in writing and production to create content that uplifts and inspires. A Writers’ Bootcamp L.A. alum, Altshuler’s credits include WGA-accredited representation, screenwriting awards, Pixar’s Story XP Winter 2022 Exhibition. She has documented the work of international choreographers, produced regional arts programming and wrote and produced stop motion animated shorts. Her YA book series Evergreen—compared to 'Narnia' and 'A Wrinkle in Time'—began as a story about an awakened tree and led to many projects, including a Female Founder Institute Fellowship, in alignment with UN Sustainable Development goals 15 and 3. For six years she worked alongside civil rights advocates at the ACLU ('How to Fix a Drug Lab Scandal'-Netflix) and integrates themes of diversity and equity into her work. She holds an undergraduate degree in depth psychology and a Master of Arts from Columbia University, and her Jungian background is the constant lens which informs her writing about the Hero's Journey.
