About Michelle

I am the President and Founder of Mimi Productions, a video/television production company in Chicago, IL. I am also a two-time Emmy Award Winner (5 time nominated). I began my career at NBC News and for 15 years I was a video editor, editing supervisor and Producer at Dateline, Nightly News, The Today Show and local Chicago News. I started my company in 1996 and left NBC in 2005 to pursue Mimi Productions full time. At my company we produce commercials, corporate/marketing documentary style videos, television projects, and live broadcast events, SMTs, streaming media tours and news conferences. Some of our clients include Abbott Labs, Bugatti and Lamborghini, College of American Pathologists, the FBI and many more. I have also produced several feature films. I am a member of the Rolling Stone Culture Council and have been published many times on Rolling Stone online. I am an avid B&W negative 35mm film artist and I am an adjunct instructor in Media Production at SAE Institute Chicago and previously at Illinois School of Broadcasting.
