Born into a family of entertainment industry professionals, I have been immersed in the world of show business from a young age. My father was a writer, my mother an actor, and my uncle ran Universal Television for nearly two decades. Following in their footsteps, I began my own career as an actor at the age of nine, primarily appearing in commercials. In 1980, I landed a recurring role on General Hospital and also began performing Improv at the Comedy Store during its heyday. I gained valuable experience working alongside luminaries such as Robin Williams, and eventually became an Improv teacher at Theatre East in Studio City, where I taught for 11 years.
Over time, I expanded my skillset to include directing and acting. In 1992, I began working for legendary filmmaker Roger Corman, starting out in the art department and eventually progressing to Location Scout/Manager, Second Unit Director, and Pickup & Insert Director. During my tenure, I worked on 19 features back-to-back, honing my craft and developing my visual effects expertise. In 1997, I directed a film for Charlie Ban called Planet Andromina, and also worked as a Visual Effects Director for music videos, including Rage Against the Machine's "No Shelter."
These days, I continue to work in the entertainment industry, splitting my time between acting and producing for AHP. I recently wrapped up a horror feature called "A Reservation" and am currently learning new visual effects techniques that I plan to utilize in an upcoming AHP film. With a lifelong passion for entertainment and a wealth of experience across various facets of the industry, I am dedicated to creating high-quality content that resonates with audiences.
Unique traits: I am a cog in a machine. I learn from some and teach it to others, so I can truly understand the essence of the concept.
