As a Turkish immigrant, I spent my years growing up between the snowy suburbs of Detroit camping and camping, and the crystal blue Aegean Sea eating fresh caught seafood and babysitting little cousins. My heart is half-burger, half-kebab. I channel my cultural fluidity to tell entertaining and accessible stories about characters too often unexplored.
