About Bo
I have enjoyed learning the industry over the past 20 years through observation. Living in LA, Albuquerque, and Phoenix has given me opportunities to work on movie sets, TV shows, radio and podcasts. I have experience doing stand up comedy and stunts and recently I have moved back home to find inspiration to tell the stories about the Midwest. I'm currently working on two features, the first is a family comedy "Little Jimmy" that follows Jimmy Hoffa around Brazil Indiana in 1923 before he moves to Detroit. The second project is one dear to me and will tell the story of Lyles station the small settlement that my ancestors found when they escaped slavery in southern Indiana. It will take place during 1850 when the fugitive slave act was passed and our small town had to protect itself from law and bounty hunter's.
Unique traits: I'm an ex football player with a big personality and unique viewpoint of the this country. I don't believe all is lost and my only view of things has been from the cheap seats living on peoples couches and sleeping in my car for most of it. I don't think we have began to scratch the surface of what potential we have as a country and civilization. I want to make movies and TV productions to remind people that we have more in common than we think, yes are there hardships and people who abuse power and privileges? yes! but there are many of us out here who are fighting the good fight and know the struggle exist for all who want a better life. If we don't focus on the struggle and show triumph we might convince an entire generation that the American dream is dead and I don't believe that to be true. i pride myself on being a great cook and I enjoy how food can bring people together and make them happy through taste and smell. something so simple and that cost nothing to make can stop an entire army from destruction or convince people with different ideas and viewpoints to stop and share a table. that's what film and comedy do for me its an opportunity to bring people together.
