Mart Sander: a filmmaker, author and musician from Estonia, EU. In his youth, Sander studied the violin, piano, and conducting. He began his professional career as a singer at the Estonian National Opera at the age of eighteen while simultaneously establishing a show band that performed 1930s repertoire. He has released more than 20 albums throughout his career. Sander obtained his Bachelor's degree in Musicology from Tallinn University, his Master's degree in Film and TV Directing from the Baltic Film and Media School (BFM), and is currently pursuing his PhD at the same institution. He is also a best-selling author of several novels and a prolific illustrator. Sander has scripted, directed, edited, and composed music for four feature films and two TV series. His works have earned him multiple awards at international film festivals.
