Robert C. Pullman
Producer | Writer | Actor
Robert’s experience as an actor, writer, and producer span over three decades and include numerous NY & LA stage, film & television credits.
He just finished writing a feature film, "WATERDOGS" based on a true story about HIS LA family who relocated to Southern Appalachia just prior to the "Great Recession" of 2008 and lost everything. He is intent on making this film and is in the beginning stages of development right now.
Robert is also VERY excited to be writing an episodic series in the style of 'Lupin', 'Masters of Sex' and 'Mad Men.'
More to come on that!!!!
Robert recently E.P.'d and acted in a feature-length film called 'DEATH DAY' (aka The Campus) - streaming on Amazon.
Of particular importance right now in the world: 'THE USUAL' ... Written & Directed by Dawn Higginbotham, an award-winning beautiful short film he had the pleasure of lighting and acting in, that was also invited to the New Directors Pavilion at Cannes.
"Choose kindness"! With love & lightness from The Usual team! #makekindnesstheusual
Robert is also in development on a narrative musical called 'TWO BOYS FROM BROOKLYN' he wrote with Trish Doolan and two-time Oscar-winning composer, Al Kasha, R.I.P.
In addition to several other achievements, Robert Co-produced and acted in a pilot with Tony Sirico, from The Sopranos.
And Robert Co-Produced & acted in 'SINGLED OUT', a pilot about (6) oddballs trying to find true love in Los Angeles staring Mackenzie Astin & David Dastmalchian.
Onward & upward!
Unique traits: Hard-working. Kind. Calm. There are few positions on a crew that Robert has not held from Camera Op, DP, Actor, Editor, G&E, Rigger, Writer, Art Department, Director, Producer, Caterer, the guy who hoses blood off the driveway after the murder scene. Thanks to all for all the opportunities! Be safe out there - we will get through this together!
