1978-1982 - art school
1988-1991 - Saint Petersburg State Institute of Film and Television

Directed student films, later private documentaries, worked as a photographer, took part in the creation of the book photo album "Unrecognizable Petersburg in watercolors by F.Bagants", took part in photo exhibitions (e.g. "Dedication" 2004), etc.

Directed and shoot feature short 16mm "Objective Suicide" (1990) and other non-public doc. films, as well as DOP in feature films:
"Retro" (1989)
"Fluff" (1990)
music video "Celestial Empire" (1991)

1988 till current plenty of 8/16 mm short films / VHS / super VHS / digital 8 / mini DV private documentaries mostly for non-public viewers

2000-2004 photographer

Also, full production of lectures, training courses, theatrical performances, dance festivals, weekly video blog, organizing online video streams, commercials, backstages, doc.films about friends :) etc.

2022 - «The So Called» feature documentary about multiple sclerosis

Currently working on some kind of philosophical film about human values, life goals, happiness, attitudes toward age, love, and simple, but eternal things.
