About Courtney
I am a lifelong writer of the best shows and movies never made. One minute I’m a marshmallow, the next I’m a meteor!
But seriously… I love to take on social issues. To make people think. To make people understand things that may be a little off their radar. I also love all things paranormal, but I have never gone down that road as a writer. My favorite themes in writing are the dramatic looks at social issues and deficits such as interracial relationships or mental illness. Write what you know right? I hope to dazzle you all and I look forward to seeing what you are all doing.
Unique traits: Almost all my writing is based on first hand experiences. I am unashamed to say I am bipolar with post traumatic stress disorder, so addressing the issues of trauma and mental diseases is certainly a passion of mine. I also tend to be inspired by people for specific roles in mind. I have been passionate about writing since I was a kid. I identify intimately with characters so I like to think, in doing so, I create lovable or sympathetic characters. I love the study of psychology and human nature. I am a sponge when learning anything that I find interesting.
