About James

With a deep sense of empathy and a unique perspective as an immunocompromised adult, James strives to make challenging topics more approachable. His drama and comedy scripts achieve this by uniquely weaving humor directly into the harsh realities of a protagonist who just had a wildcard hurled at them. A Massachusetts native and Boston Conservatory graduate, James resides in the Boston area. He has completed several hour and half hour pilots under the guidance of script consultant Jen Grisanti and is in Top Tier at Roadmap Writers. In 2023, he was a finalist for the Roadmap Writer's Diversity Fellowship and the ISA Pitch Challenge. James firmly believes life can throw us a massive curveball any time which is why the world needs underrepresented protagonists to remind us that while we can’t control the hand we are dealt, our power lies in how we respond.
