I've always had the writing bug my whole life in some form or another, but in 2016 I began writing Screenplays. I've struggled with it for the most part. It's not an easy artform. And it's craft that takes time to truly master.

I've written three screenplays. They were all dramas and after the last one I got very frustrated. They certainly weren't nowhere close to being anything good. It wasn't just my inner critic, but I knew I still had a long way to go. I ended up letting it get the best of me and quit for a few years. Then last year (2022)I sat down one day and had a lot of concepts rolling around in my brain and one in particular that I felt was worth writing. So I developed and fleshed it out as well as spent lots of time re-learning. So I feel as though I'm starting over.

My desire is to always learn, always write, especially learning from Producers and possibly get assignments or wherever it leads me. I'm willing to listen, take notes, improve. I'm not sure of genres I'm most good at yet, but as of now I'm focused on Comedies and Romantic Comedies.

I've written a short horror screenplay as well.

Anyway, I'm glad to be here. Looking forward to furthering the craft and maybe even help others if I can.

I also grew up around music. My brothers all played instruments and I started playing guitar at the age of 10. Three years later I begin writing my own songs and took voice lessons. Started playing in bands. Now days I write lyrics for others, mostly friends or their friends bands.
