Skip Bolen

Skip Bolen is an IATSE Local 600 Still Photographer and specializes in shooting still photography (with Jacobson Sound Blimps) for film production and promotion - including unit, episodic, and behind-the-scenes images of actors, crew and production. Experienced in capturing images in very low light, challenging light situations, and challenging work environments. Member of IATSE Local 600 (International Cinematographers Guild). Extensive archive of images. Complete pro digital and film service. Available to shoot in New Orleans and Louisiana as a local, New York and Los Angeles. Will travel and work anywhere.

The geek stuff (or the stuff I use): Complete pro-digital and film service - I'm shooting with a pro Canon EOS-1D X, Canon EOS 5D Mk III, and Canon G15 camera shooting RAW (and jpeg) format and using a Jacobson Sound Blimps when necessary. Processing on an Apple Mac Pro Tower with Apple 30 inch monitors, MacBook Pro laptop both with Adobe Photoshop CS6, Adobe Lightroom, FotoStation Pro and Photo Mechanic. I also shoot film with a Leica R8 system.
