SYNOPSIS:

The Star of Destiny – is an ancient talisman, a Mogan Dovide with a 40 karet red ruby at it’s center that was unearthed at the Masada Dig a few years ago and is kept under 24 hour Masada Guard enshrined in the Wailing wall. Legend has it that this Mogan Dovide belonged to King David. He first wore it when he slew Golliath. It’s believed that whoever has the Star of Destiny in their possession and prays the prayer of King David over it will unleash it’s magic and have the wisdom and strength of King David himself and rule the world.

Jessica Callison, 30 something, is on assignment in Washington DC to cover the wedding of the year. The Vice President of the United States. She writes for the Dallas Star gossip column. She longs to do hard news stories but has been unable to make the leap.

Stan Merlin, a 35-year-old ex-Marine helicopter pilot, is heading back to the taxi cab station. He’s looking forward to going out and getting smashed, the usual routine after his shift.

His last ride of the night is Jessica and when their paths cross it's murder. Together they must save Jessica's Mom and find the Star of Destiny and keep it from falling into the wrong hands.
