Taking a new a new turn in a diverse and passionate musical career, I have recently traded globe-trotting the world’s famous concert halls with my violin, to writing scores for film and media. I have just finished writing the score to an exciting documentary for Channel 4 in collaboration with director Johnny Burke.

Whether rocking out or trying to understand the intricacies of baroque articulation, I’m propelled by the same quest for beauty and meaning in music. I try to put that into every note I write. Creating any form of art is to plunge into a deep web of intertwined cultural meanings, every gesture, every stroke of paint, feeding off a rich heritage - that heritage may be challenged, embraced or reinvented, but never ignored.
