Alec Bowman-Clarke is a hyphenate in the truest sense, a thoughtful artist with big dreams. A storyteller who writes, directs, edits beautiful short films & music videos, he is working on his first full-length feature. He takes atmospheric photographs in a similar style, characterised by obscurity, reflection and decay. He also plays upright and electric bass and occasional Hammond organ. He’s worked with everyone from Rough Trade Records to Badly Drawn Boy and The Magic Numbers. As if that wasn’t enough, the lucky bastard also lives on a remote Scottish island with his musician wife, Josienne Clarke, and their baby.
