About Brian

I examine title to real estate by day and fight the forces of darkness with Final Draft by night. I am an ambitious screenwriter. I like to challenge myself. I want to meet people in entertainment with similar interests. I'm a musician who can play guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, and the microphone. I've been writing song lyrics and poetry my entire life. I consider myself retired now but I used to front a few punk bands and even had a website dedicated to original local music in Alaska called RockNewsAK, where I would post bios of local bands, pictures of their shows, and write several reviews and editorials. From there I approached one of the owners of the most popular bars in Anchorage in 2001 about creating and producing a weekly showcase called Live & Local to feature in their establishment. I would book 2 to 3 bands every week, sometimes even my own, and bring in scores of rowdy beer-drinking moshers. Above all though, I love movies. All genres and types of movies. That's why, as an aspiring screenwriter, I challenge myself to write in any given genre. My ultimate goal is to sell my stories and make enough money to quit my day job and focus on creating art full time.
