T.J. Morehouse is an enrolled member of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma and a member of the Producers Guild of America.
He is a mutiple award-winning writer, director, and producer with over 20 years’ experience in physical production. He wrote, produced, and directed “Pavaarotti of the Plains” a biography of Texas music legend Don Walser, He won Tribeca All Access with the screenplay “Plastic Indian”. His Screenplay “FEDERALE!” won several awards including The “Southern California Screenplay Competition,” it was also a finalist for Fade In’s “First 10 Pages” competition as well as a finalist at “Richmond International Film Fest.” He has also placed in the top 5% at Austin Film Festival and Writer’s Conference for his neo-noir script “June in California” which also won several awards including “Los Angeles Crime and Horror Film Festival”, “Hollywood Just for Shorts” and “The Creative World Awards Competition”. In 2021-22 he swept 12 wins on the film festival circuit with the film “The Dark Valley”, one of which was “Red Nation Film Festival” in Hollywood. The “Oscar” of Native American media.
