Paul Peter Simons was born and raised in Düsseldorf, where he became involved in the local film scene as a teenager. 2017 he graduated from RWTH Aachen University with a bachelor's degree in business administration. During his studies, he founded the commercial film production nerdfilms.net, where he was responsible for numerous commercials. He gathered further work experience at Endemol Beyond, SquareOne and Plaion Pictures (former Koch Films). Now he works for W&B Television.
2019 he joined the production class at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg and for his diploma he is developing a horror fantasy series. As an up-and-coming producer, his interests are in genre- mix, genre-content in particular, and he has a passion for the Korean film industry.
