Nate Goodwin

Nathaniel Goodwin was born in California, raised in Austin, Texas, and resides in Oklahoma City. He is a Business Professor at Southern Nazarene University and is currently a professional model and actor. He has obtained two master’s degrees from Southern Nazarene University in Business Administration and the Educational Leadership program. He is pursuing a Doctor of Education in Administration and Leadership (Ed.D) at SNU. Professor Goodwin joined the SNU faculty in July 2020. His specialty areas include marketing & management, academic advising, student leadership, and eliminating internal and external barriers for struggling students. He teaches Ethics & Business Principles, Entrepreneurship, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Entrepreneurship, Professional Sales, and Strategic Marketing.

Before joining the SNU family, Mr. Goodwin was an Academic Adjunct (2007) at UCO and an Academic Dean (2012). A Business Program Lead (2016) at Wright Career College, a Business Academic Advisor (2017) at OSU/OKC, and he was a Director of Intercultural Student Engagement (2019) at SNU. He was an Oklahoma Gazette’s 2016 forty-under 40 award winner. He formally owned Nate G’s Modeling Boot Camp, a modeling business that supports and provides coaching for local models in Oklahoma. He has memberships to Kappa Delta Pi, World Experiences Foundation, Alliance of Emerging Professionals, and the Cooperative Council for Oklahoma School Administration.

He is a Former Mr. Oklahoma winner of Cosmopolitan’s Bachelor of the Year contest in 2011 and the Mr. Caribbean International fitness competition winner in 2012. He got a big break when he became Mr. Oklahoma for Cosmopolitan’s Bachelor of the Year contest in 2011. Cosmo allowed him to be interviewed for Fox25 News and Channel 4 News. He co-hosted T.V. shows and was a judge for several talent shows. As a professional male model, he has appeared in many magazines, including ESPN, SO6ix, Glass Hat, Bridal Lifestyle, and The Oklahoman. He is also represented by Sunshine Productions Modeling Agency, Career Images Model & Talent INC, and Michele and Group INC. He believes “The Galaxy is the Limit!”

Mr. Goodwin enjoys working out, reading, playing basketball, learning, and mentoring young adults and children. He loves to travel worldwide to meet new people and experience new cultures. His famous saying is, “The Galaxy is the Limit!”
