About Kay

I am an Asian-American screenwriter whose work features strong Asian characters and other diverse voices. I offer new perspectives and imaginative and comic twists to my stories. I’ve performed in improvisational sketches and taken improv and comedy writing classes. I am also an Emmy-award-winning former TV journalist and producer. My goal is to bring a little joy and humor to audiences and to show how we share common emotions and experiences that unite us rather than divide us.
