About Gerald

One of six boys raised on a very small family farm in North-Central Illinois.

Worked my way through school to earn my college degree and graduate degrees.

B.A. – Zoology (Pre-Med)
M.A. – Management & Supervision
Ph.D. – Management
J.D. – Law

Retired Active Duty U.S. Army Engineer Officer.
Retired University Business Management Professor (the “people” side of business).
Semi-Retired Attorney (only very limited practice now).

Being retired, I write as a hobby – for the enjoyment and challenge of putting onto paper what I see in my mind. My writing during my time as an Army Officer, College Professor, and Attorney was almost entirely non-fiction. Now, it’s almost entirely fiction.

In addition to my writing, I have been (and still am to a certain degree) a professional musician (guitar and bass guitar) and songwriter. I’ve toured the nation with various bands/groups and served as a studio session musician in Nashville.

I triple-dog-dare-you to check out my material, I think you will enjoy them.
