Stacy Hardin Cox

I grew up in an abusive home with my Mother, Father and two sisters. As a young adult I became a nanny at 13. By the age of 15 I was briefly working as a runway model for Sears in El Paso Texas before being accepted into John Casablancas school for modeling in Charlotte, North Carolina. I soon became a wife and a mother of two beautiful children who also lived with my ex-husband and I through 5 years of abuse during our marriage. My story goes on to detail many different experiences that most people only see in movies or can't even imagine. I would love the opportunity to sit down with someone who can help express all of the emotion it would take to define my life and my experiences. My 23-year-old daughter passed away in April from a drug overdose. Having been abducted when she was 6 years old and then going back into that environment at the age of 14 holds so much wisdom through her life that her passing would be tragic and still is tragic but it has healing and help in the message. These are just a few things my children and I have lived through. I hope to get the chance to share my 45 years of experience with the rest of the world. I started something called Single Mom Stories on Facebook a few years ago in the hopes that I would encourage other single mothers and even my own two daughters to be strong and healthy women. That is my hope to encourage people all over, of all races, in every gender to be strong and to be smart and to make good choices. It's so important. I hope to hear from you soon.
