About Ken

It all started with winning a school-wide writing award for an essay penned in the 6th Grade. Children's book author and John Burroughs Association recommendation for NATURE SPY published by Macmillan. Screenplay once optioned by Ben Barenholtz, whose earthly presence has since left us for that bright, Elgin Cinema in the sky. Dedicated mind-wanderer and welcome sufferer of terminal wanderlust, gets along well with others, and is a big fan of collaborative efforts. Currently at work on several screenplays including a quirky comedy, a thriller, historical fiction, and novels covering coming of age, fantasy, and diversity. I live on the Shrewsbury River in Monmouth Beach, NJ. I bake my own chocolate chip cookies and home made ice cream, and am a really nice person. Big fan of old B&W movies: "It's the stuff that dreams are made of," says Bogart's Sam Spade to a perplexed Ward Bond as Detective Tom Polhaus in the final scene of the 1941 noir classic THE MALTESE FALCON.
