Just another long, winding journey to find myself sitting at a keyboard, staring at a blank page in Final Draft. I started in Broadcast Journalism, then moved to print, working as a magazine editor for a business trade publication. Took a break to start a family and segued into marketing communications. Today, I'm a historian with my thoughts usually in the past and drawn to fascinating but little known stories..
I'm working on several non-fiction biopic screenplays, all set in different parts of the world from the 1850s to 1940s WWII-- stories of adversity, overcoming prejudice and perseverance.
Julian Fellowes is my hero in believing it's never too late as I transition away from a long non-related career into storytelling. It's never too late to follow your dreams. But mostly it's to get all these voices out of my head and onto paper.
