The Morning After

Director Kevin wakes up the morning after he had a petty, immature fight with his much younger girlfriend, Belle. Filled with regret, Kevin remembers his drunken misadventures of the night before. At the same time, Belle is remembering the nights events through a particularly hard hangover, and comes to realize that she was taken advantage of by an ex-boyfriend of hers when she was far too drunk to consent. Nikki, a flirtatious bartender, can't help but think of her encounters with Kevin from the night before, the only one without regret.

Director After his father's suicide, Daniel is on the brink of suicide himself, contemplating jumping off a high cliff in San Francisco, when an old childhood friend, Amanda, stumbles into him and talks him away from the ledge. Amanda convinces Daniel to accompany her back to her place where she catches Daniel up on her own woes over a bottle or two of wine and music. The next morning comes, and Amanda and Daniel take a walk where they reaffirm their friendship.
