Hsiao-Wei Chen

I am a passionate storyteller and costume, set, and production designer with experience in film and live performance. Awards include the 2022 OPERA America Director-Designer Prize, 2020 WorldFest-Houston Silver Remi, and 2019 National Film Festival Audience Award. Skilled in costume, scenic & graphic design, production management, and construction for costume & prop. Holds an MFA from the University of Texas at Austin and a BA in Drama & Theatre from National Taiwan University.
