About Sillas
Greetings! I’m Sillas Samba, a storyteller born on April 15th, 1991, in the heart of Paris.
My journey as a creator spans across pages, screens, and the vibrant streets of my hometown.
My passion for storytelling ignited at the age of 9, when the pages of novels first transported me to imaginative worlds.
Since 2012, I’ve expanded my storytelling skills into independent filmmaking, writing and directing many short films.
Over the last five years, I’ve also worked as a steadicam operator and jib operator.
Whether through the written word or visual storytelling, my work is driven by a deep curiosity for human experiences, cultural exploration, and the magic found in the everyday.
