At the age of 2 I knew I wanted to be an actor. It was Star Wars that made me want to become an actor. Greedo in fact. I figured someone was getting paid to make believe they are an alien. How cool is that? My parents, actually my mother kind of figured it all out. I did my first play with another young actor who was two years younger then me. His name is Jesse Eisenberg. Around 9 I was in little league and had the chance to audition for a play at The Paper Mill Playhouse. I got the part and had to make a choice. Take the play or continue to play baseball. I decided to quit baseball and join the production of The Merry Widow. After that, I got a theatrical manager, and ended up doing 11 episodes on Saturday Night Live, all before the age of 11. It was in my opinion one of the best casts of the show. I learned to do impressions from Dana Carvey. Got to work with some of the greats that are gone too early, like Farley and Hartman.
I had done a bunch of voice overs, industrial films, a few student films, a cohost to a kids public access show, some book cover art print work. I never looked for fame or fortune. I just wanted to work. One line in a movie or tv show was cool with me. When I was 12 I had auditioned for a short film called Trevor. At first I was not comfortable with the subject matter. It was about a 13 year old boy who has to come to terms with his sexuality after being bullied. I was assured that everything was done in good taste. It was. I took the part, the movie won an Academy Award, for Best Live Action Short Film.
As of now, not really acting anymore. Have gone into production doing accounting. Would love to get back to it. I worked at the post office for over two years, and that is what brings me here.
