David is a New York based cinematographer, splitting time between the hustle of Brooklyn and the quiet of the Northern Castkills. A 15 year industry veteran, his approach to the craft is naturalistic and elegant, with a focus on creating beautiful, captivating images that tell a powerful story.
His credits include narrative feature films, music videos, commercials, and acclaimed documentaries, including Sony Classics’ Jodorowsky’s Dune, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and was nominated to the Oscar Shortlist for Best Documentary, Magnolia Pictures Nothing Can Hurt Me: The Big Star Story, and the tour documentary Chainsmokers: Memories.
He also works in TV as a Director of Photography and camera operator for Discovery, The History Channel, The Food Network, HGTV, Oxygen, and many others.
