Lauren Pizzicaroli

After travelling from Canada to Ireland and earning my Bachelor of Arts in Management Practice, I pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Writing and Screenwriting at The University of Worcester in England. Throughout my academic journey, I focused on refining my craft and received specialized training in script consulting.

During my studies, I landed a position with Dr. Rebekah Louisa Smith, known as The Film Festival Doctor. Starting as a Project Manager and advancing to Senior Project Manager, I eventually became the Executive Assistant. In this role, I provide crucial support to filmmakers, managing festival submissions, overseeing BIFA, BAFTA, and Oscar campaigns, and ensuring smooth coordination of deliverables.

My time with The Film Festival Doctor sparked my passion for assisting fellow creatives. I transitioned into professional script consulting, where I've helped numerous filmmakers enhance their screenplays for production, competitions, and festivals.In 2024, I launched my own script consulting service, called Source Script Consulting, offering comprehensive script coverage reports complemented by personalized video calls and text messaging support.

I've served as a juror for prestigious festivals such as the Beeston Film Festival, London Lift-Off Film Festival, Oak Cliff Film Festival, NZ Web Fest, and USA Film Festival. Additionally, I've contributed as a judge for the National Youth Film Academy Awards and as a reviewer for Lift-Off Global Network.

My aim is to connect with more filmmakers, improve my understanding of storytelling, help other filmmakers with their screenplays, and earn more opportunities to get my own scripts on screen.
