In general
I am a realistic dreamer.
I'm a firm believer in "less is more" and "why not?"
I love to ping-pong stories.
My strength is finding solutions and staying positive.
I want to show what's possible with my work and being.
And when I care about something or someone, I don't give up!
Politically
I am an activist for unconditional basic income (UBI).
As a filmmaker
I'm a writer-director. And sometimes editor. And producer, if necessary. All this knowledge helps me to develop and write stories and to treat cast, crew and production with respect.
I studied journalism (bachelor, ZHAW) and directing feature films (master, ZHdK). However, my first feature length film was a documentary about the transformative power of death.
My first feature film LOVERS was mainly improvised. We shot the main storyline in 24 hours with a crew of 6 people (including actors).
Letting go of many conventional "certainties" and trusting each other freed up space for an energy and creativity that I had never experienced before. That was a revelation for me.
A long time ago I decided to focus all my energy and action on humorous, tragicomic and hopeful stories because I know from experience that this is what inspires and moves people - emotionally and spiritually.
And that's what I want to do.
