About Jim

I'm a writer, director and environmentalist from Seattle, who is now living and working in Sydney, Australia. I love history as a jumping off point, and am developing a name for finding intimate, subjective, approaches to otherwise objective historical scenarios.

My debut indie feature Love is Now, a mystery romance, which I wrote and directed, was released in 2015 and was subsequently acquired by Universal Pictures, and my TV series The Coupmaster, a historical spy thriller, is currently in development with Cordell Jigsaw Zapruder in Australia.

I have, of course, written many other projects that are in varying stages of development. Notably, The Man Who Removed The Mountains, a biopic about the Chinese artist Xu Beihong, done for Hong Kong based Shaw Studios... and Beautiful Beast, a black comedy set in the world of Australian US political relations.
