About Steve
I started my creative journey in Theatre. At 16, I had written my first musical, and by 18, I was running my own theatre company. I trained as a theatre director at Rose Bruford in London.
After college, I worked at the Gate Theatre as an assistant director to David Farr (Hannah) and then went on to train as an editor and compositor. I moved quickly into directing, Motion capture, and animation. I established my animation and IP development company in 2006, The Giggle Group Ltd. More recently, we transformed the company into a marketing and creative Agency called Studio Giggle and opened a brand new Virtual production Studio in Bristol called Distortion Studios. I have an MA in Scriptwriting from Bath Spa University, UK where I achieved a Distinction.
I am working on a rewrite of my Sci-Fi Thriller INK, which I will pitch at MIP TV in 2024.
A pre-school show which explores science through music called Belly-Bongo's with WildChild.
In addition, I am working with a Ukrainian Writer/ producer to write a true-life story set in Ukraine at the start of the war with Russia.
Unique traits: I have a full back tattoo of a Japanese scene created by an Italian Tattoist over 7 days
