I'm Ellis, like the island, a gay disgrace to my Amish PA upbringing, Columbia University MFA (2023), award-winning Off-Broadway playwright mentored by Steve Martin, and the youngest, silliest full-time professor in the game. Through coming-of-age Gen-Z dark comedies, I invite all audiences into insular communities and liberating pursuits of queer identity and love.
