Dayana Montero Lopez

I’m a fresh high school graduate looking to learn about the creativity behind film making and screenwriting.

Skills:
Over the years I have gained skills through work experience that have helped grow closer to my endeavors.

One of these is the ability to create illustrations and use Adobe Photoshop. I took the Art pathway during my high school years and have gained the opportunity to enhance my skills in 3D animation and modeling in MAYA, create traditional and digital illustrations, and to learn graphic design skills in Adobe Photoshop. I also used my graphic design skills as a volunteer for a non profit organization called TeenWritersProject.

Due to my knowledge in Photoshop I was able to earn a Adobe Photoshop Visual Design Certification.

Another skill I have achieved over the years is my ability to write in literary and screen writing form.

During my high school years I was tasked with writing educational essays and have been able to use my experience during my time as a student assistant for the school librarian during work hours. I also learned the basics of screenwriting during my time at my theater classes and had the wonderful opportunity to see a live theater play of "A Christmas Carol" were we did an acting workshop.

A skill I have also attained over the years is being a translator for Spanish speaking individuals. I grew up bilingual and have experience speaking and writing in Spanish and use this ability to help people whose first language is Spanish to understand English in real time. During my time in being a student assistant I found myself being a translator to students who weren't fluent in English and have helped others to write in the English language for written assignments.
