SYNOPSIS:

Rick Branning (the main character), before the presentation of an important project, decides to have lunch at his favorite cafe while he was waiting for his colleagues, dozed off a little under the sultry sun, but his colleagues immediately wake him up. Rick decides to show off to his colleagues a ring that he will give his wife on their 10th wedding anniversary. But suddenly some thief Charlie Mikalls snatches the ring from Rick and tries to hide. Rick rushes after him. Running block after block, he does not notice how he gets to the store, on which the inscription " Through time", in which he had previously acquired a ring for his beloved wife. They both run through the back door and find themselves in the times of the Zaporozhye Cossacks, who have a war against the Poles (Rick appears in the guise of a Cossack of those times, and Charlie in the guise of Poles). After all the troubles, the pursuit of the offender and his ring continues. Soon Rick realizes that the ring is a guide to different worlds and the desire to return it becomes vital. Then they find themselves in the time of sea pirates and the Royal British Imperial Navy (on the side of the pirates Rick, and Charlie, respectively, on the other side of the battle). Later, time brings them to the 19th century, at the time of the trends and modernization of Europe and America on Japan (Rick turns into a samurai, and Charlie is an ally of the European-American community). In the last adventure and wandering in time, they find themselves in the XX century, at the time of Al Capone and Roy O'Banon (on the side of the Capone gang - Rick, on the side of the O'Banon gang - Charlie). In the denouement, Rick finally takes possession of the ring and rushes away from this past into the real world. Rick does not notice how he gets into the present and finds himself next to his colleagues with a ring in his hand, but without Charlie, whom he so wanted to turn over to the police. Colleagues were surprised that Rick returned so quickly, less than five minutes. Rick does not understand how this is possible, tells them what happened to him, but colleagues do not believe him, citing Rick's wild imagination. Returning to the office, Rick sees that the person who is among their future partners is Charlie, and rushes at him. Rick opens his eyes, looks around and realizes that he just fell asleep in that very cafe under the sultry sun and he had this dream full of adventures.
